I´ve got the blues

Demorei muito para postar de novo nesse blog, mas antes tarde do que mais tarde ainda.
Hoje quero falar do papis querido do rock, o Blues.
Isso tudo porque entrei em uma banda de blues, a Mr. Mud, depois de praticamente 3 anos sem cantar esse estilo (btw, The Trixers vai muito bem, obrigada, ).
Em 2007 eu escrevia e produzia uns documentários para a MTV, era o MTV+ e quando fui escrever sobre a histórias bizarras da parceria rock e demo (tinha que ser eu pra escrever isso...), o primeiro cara que citei, antes de AC/DC e Black Sabbath, foi o bluesman Robert Johnson .
Ele é o primeiro cara que se tem notícia de ter feito um pacto com o moço do lado de lá (debaixo). Verdade ou não, foi por Robert Johnson que o delta blues ficou famoso... assim como ele, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon entre tantos outros, influenciam blueseiros e rockeiros até hoje.

Fazer uma lista de blues é de enorme responsa e por isso já peço perdão aos aficcionados de tal gênero, pois vou misturar blues raiz delta, com rock e soul aqui... mas não me levem a mal, são apenas minhas grandes influências e que me fazem ouvir e cavar mais ainda os blues de várias épocas.

I took a while to write a new post on this blog, but you know, better late than even later.
Today I want to dedicate a post to Rock´s dear daddy, the Blues.
It has to do with my new band (it already existed but I´m new there), Mr. Mud, after 3 years without singing this genre of music (by the way, The Trixers is doing just great, cheers).
In 2007 I used to write and produce a tv program (kinda documentary style) on MTV called MTV+. When I wrote a program about the relation between rock and devil (of course I did! and it was pure fun!), the first guy I mentioned, before AC/DC or Black Sabbath, was the bluesman, Robert Johnson.
He´s the first guy that was known to have an agreement with the guy from the other side (actually, under side). True or not, it was because of  him that Delta Blues became so famous... just like him, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon between many others, still influence blues musicians and rockers all around the world.
To make a Blues list is an enormous responsability and for that, I ask the blues fans and experts for forgiverness in advance, cause I will mix delta blues with rock and soul... don´t get me wrong, they´re just my biggest influences and they are the ones who make me listen and dig more the blues from all ages.
